Siobhan's Birthday/New Stuff

Sara, here. Each of us who post on this blog now have our own font, whenever we post. My font is, Helvetica.Just wanted to share that with you all.

Yesterday was Siobhan's birthday. She's now 21 :) . I bought a small marble (loaf) cake and decorated it with chocolate frosting, purple fish shaped sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles and her name in purple icing. I put 2 orange candles and lit them. I sang "Happy Birthday". I'd also made a banner/sign, which I'd hung over the fireplace in the family room. I listened to her Idol music all day. Here are some pictures from that day. Last year sometime, I had decorated 3 picture frames (only 1 shown here) and put my favourite pictures of Siobhan in them. You can the picture and frame behind the cake.

The cake has purple icing, which represents her favourite colour. It also has purple fish sprinkles, which represent her favourite colour and also Cape Cod (fish). Chocolate sprinkes, because....chocolate is sooo good! The same goes for the frosting. The cake is marble. The 2 orange candles represent, Halloween, her favourite holiday. The purple fits with that theme too.

This is the banner/sign I made. Again, the orange represents, Halloween and the purple is her favourite colour. I love these pics of her, so I decided to put these on the sign. I have many favourite pics, by the way.
